Zoo!!

So there's been so oddly warm weather this winter. Last Tuesday, it worked out that Jesse was off work and it was a nice 65 degree day, so we packed up and headed for the zoo. I'll let the pictures do most of the talking! Enjoy :-)

What's Been Up in 2012?

January 2012 is OVER and I blogged, um, zero times! Awesome. Here's a run down of what's been going on this year!

*Jacob is potty trained!! So far everything I've done with him (move to a bed out of the crib, potty training, for example) have been pretty easy. He's such a smart little boy and was so ready and excited about trying new things! I'm sad that my little man is growing and I'm def not trying to rush anything. I wish I could freeze him as he is right now!

*The girls are FINALLY in high chairs (only took me 2 months to get them down and set up-lol) The love sitting in them and playing with toys. And they love to eat!!

*We have been having the oddest weather here! It's been fairly warm and we took a fun trip to the DC Zoo last week. Another post shall follow with pics :-)

*Jacob is just a little chatterbox. We have the funnest conversations, him and I! His new favorite things to say are: "I have an idea!" followed by nothing except that he has an idea-lol. He loves to say "I do it later" referring to anything he does not wish to do. He loves to say "I love you" and "I make mommy happy". Jacob also loves talking about his friends. I think he just likes saying the word friends, but I also know he loves those guys!

*We had a super bowl part with friends last night and it was a blast. The 3 little kids had so much fun together and the food was 'lishcious' in the words of Jacob!

I guess not much else has been going on so far this year! Here's to hoping I blog more!
